Are the Cleveland Browns the Next NFL Dynasty?

If and when Odell Beckham Jr. joins them, who would bet against their future? But a winning Cleveland Browns franchise might be the worst thing for Tennessee Volunteers’ fans reputation.

This decade has been about breaking “jinxes.”

Vanderbilt now beats Tennessee on the gridiron with regularity. East Tennessee State’s football team won a share of the Southern Conference championship last year.

The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. So did the Kansas City Royals, who hadn’t even made the playoffs for 29 years prior to their 2014 appearance, and the San Francisco Giants, who hadn’t won the Fall Classic since moving from New York after the 1957 season. The Houston Astros had NEVER won the Series, and suddenly the Boston Red Sox are a big market winner whose fans now expect nothing less than a World Championship.

Two years ago the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl for the first time, and the New Orleans Saints began the decade doing the same.

In hockey, Alexander Ovechkin beat Sidney Crosby last year. Before that, the Chicago Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings, and Boston Bruins took Lord Stanley’s Cup, ending droughts dating back 40 to 50 years.

In the NBA- Cleveland won a title three years ago. CLEVELAND!

And now, it appears Cleveland may be on the verge of breaking another jinx. Because Odell Beckham Jr., unless reports are wrong, is going to play for the Cleveland Browns.
