Couple of other things- Samford won 20 games under Scott Padgett in 2017, so saying the Bulldogs haven't won 20 games in 15 years is simply inaccurate. It's true Samford has never won 10 games in the SoCon before. That means they were 10-8, and the program had won nine games in the SoCon and 10 games in other conferences before. You'll forgive me if I don't call McMillan the second coming of Hank Iba simply because modest achievements look better considering Samford's modest basketball history. And really, the state of Alabama's modest basketball history.
