Georgia’s 44–21 Victory Proves It; Tennessee is the Most Overrated and Predictable Program in College Football

The Tennessee Volunteers’ fan base and media is always overrating the Vols’ football team.
Never was it proven more than in Georgia’s 44–21 defeat of the Volunteers.
With eight straight victories against declining programs and traditional tomato cans through two seasons, some believed the glory days of Vols football were returning.
Why, the Vols were ranked 14th! Take away the first half of the 2016 season, when the supposedly revived program started 5–0 only to finish 9–4, and this was the highest Tennessee had been ranked in the polls since 2007, when the Vols won their last SEC East title.
Never mind the ranking was dependent on the Big 10 and Pac 12 not playing. The point spread had moved two points to the Volunteers’ favor over the week. Pundits told us Tennessee had one of the top offensive lines in the country.
