How ETSU’s Subservience to Tennessee is Costing the Bucs
A truth is revealed in Bo Hodges’ journey through the transfer portal
Bo Hodges revealed his list of the final five college basketball teams he’s considering playing his senior season at on Sunday.
East Tennessee State fans will no doubt be relieved their star guard of the past three seasons is still considering a return to the Buccaneers, along with departing to Arkansas, Butler, Minnesota, or Tennessee State.
And in fact, his announcement, made on Twitter, reveals perhaps one of the reasons he’s considering transferring.
As of this writing, Hodges has 47 comments to his announcement, including a couple of my own.
Half of them are of ETSU fans begging him to stay.
That’s not surprising. Bucs fans are the ones already following his account. They are the ones who know who he is.
But two of the ETSU faithful actually have Tennessee Volunteers avatars as they urge Hodges to stay in Johnson City for his senior year.
