Is Baker Mayfield the Next Butch Jones?

Kudos to Colin Cowherd for this analogy

You can bet after my show Colin Cowherd is going to say a lot about Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield’s beer chugging display this past Saturday at a Cleveland Indians home game.

If you missed it Mayfield, sitting in a suite and watching the Tribe beat the Angels 11–3, realized the cameras were on him.

He then proceeded to chug a beer in a style that would have made the late Fox Foster proud and turned around to reveal he was wearing a jersey of Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor.

The crowd loved it. Much like Tennessee fans loved, three years ago, Butch Jones reaction to Josh Dobbs’ bomb to Jauan Jennings to beat Georgia.

At the time, it was viewed as a celebration. It made the Vols’ record 5–0.

From there Tennessee lost three straight, splitting their final eight games.
