Seattle Passes Most Important Law of All Time!
Joins San Francisco and Portland in allowing sports fans to actually be able to follow a ballgame at a bar!
East Tennessee has chuckled at some of the problems the major cities of the west coast have endured with a high cost of living, such as homelessness.
How could the local cultures be more different, and still part of America, than the Tri-Cities and Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco?
Topography of east Tennessee and San Francisco? Maybe not. Culture? Yes. Polar opposites.
Hey, at least when east Tennesseans shoot up, they have the decency to do it in the privacy of their own shack! In San Francisco they do it in the middle of the street!
It probably has to do more to do with east Tennessee shacks being more affordable than housing in San Francisco than anything concerning modesty, but even still!
But Seattle, like Portland and San Francisco before it, has just passed a law that requires bars to activate closed captioning on their television sets during business hours.
The law does not just apply to watering holes! No! If you have a set on in your restaurant, gym for the people on exercise bikes, or the ballpark for the fans waiting in line at the concession stands, the sets MUST have closed captioning on!
The law is meant to benefit people who are hard of hearing. Or maybe have other disabilities. Or simply for someone who has moved from a…
