The 2019 Ford Mustang Is NASCAR’s REAL Car of Tomorrow
When one changes what worked and it doesn’t anymore, it’s wise to go back to the original plan.
If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
Yes, there are flaws with that statement. There was nothing inherently wrong with typewriters, they remain functional, but word processors are vastly superior improvements.
Still, when something successful is changed that works in to something that doesn’t it is best the original way is restored.
Perhaps that’s why Miley Cyrus’ hair is now back to a longer style reminiscent of Hannah Montana than the pixy cut from her days as a twerking gargoyle.
And perhaps now NASCAR is also learning this lesson.
It’s not a stretch to suggest the demise of NASCAR, if not outright beginning with, was certainly accelerated when they started tinkering with a successful product and introduced The Car of Tomorrow 12 years ago at the Food City 500 in Bristol.
Which essentially took all identity away from stock cars, and with it the appeal of rooting for a make, and with it “win on Sunday, sell on Monday.”
