The Solution to ETSU’s Quarterback Woes

Allow the prodigal son to return home.

Is ETSU head football coach Tre Lamb losing his team?

There’s an arrogance to Lamb’s personality that comes off more as trying to pass the buck than “tough guy.”

Which has played out in not showing any ability whatsoever to either develop or select a quarterback.

With a winning record and possible playoff berth at stake at Virginia Military this Saturday, he refuses to publicly name a starter after playing three quarterbacks in a 24–21 loss to lowly Furman.

Lamb’s actions say he is more concerned about the scout team of 1–10 VMI than assigning leadership and the confidence a player will develop by publicly naming him starting quarterback.

This, after Gino English threw three interceptions playing against Furman after Lamb didn’t announce a starting quarterback prior to the game.

For comparison’s sake, English was named the starter the week before against Western Carolina, he also threw three interceptions.

Boy, Clay Hendrix must really have deserved the accolades Lamb put upon him in the press conference prior to the game to achieve the same result without knowing if English was going to start or not!

How could a savant like this be 3–7? How?
